Use of Verbs

Remember:

•1st form of verb is used with Do, Does, Did, will, shall, may , might, can , could, would, should, ought to

• when sentence is about your daily routine ( I get up early in the morning). 
• When a sentence has “ always, often, daily, usually ,regularly, seldom and every “ in it 
• When there is universal truth like ( God helps those who help themselves) ( The Sun rises in the east, It rains in rainy season )
• When the verb is after to ____________ 
• 2nd form of verb is used for any action in the past
• When your sentence has “ yesterday, last, ago or the previous day” in it. 
• 2nd form of verb is used when there is date or year mentioned in a sentence.
• ( I joined The Educators in 2005) 
• Sentences of Past perfect Tense. ( The peon had rung the bell before I reached) 
• 3rd form of verb is used with has , have , had , be ( in passive voice)will have, shall have 
• All passive voice sentences. 
• If a sentence has “ by” before time. They will have finished their work by tomorrow 
• 1st form with ing is used in continuous tenses , perfect continuous tenses 
• If the sentences ends at “ today” it can be done in these ways 
• She is singing a sad song today. She sang a sad song today.
